Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SocialCrank ("Service"), operated by SocialCrank ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SocialCrank is an audience intelligence tool for X (formerly Twitter). The Service allows you to analyze your follower and following lists, including searching, sorting, filtering, and exporting your audience data. We access your X data through authorized API connections with your explicit permission.

3. Account and Authentication

To use the Service, you must authenticate with your X account via OAuth 2.0. By signing in, you authorize SocialCrank to access your public profile information, follower list, and following list as permitted by X's API. We never post on your behalf, and we never request write access to your X account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

SocialCrank offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the free tier at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.

You agree not to:

Use the Service to extract, collect, or harvest data for spam, harassment, or unsolicited contact. Redistribute, sell, or sublicense data obtained through the Service. Attempt to circumvent plan limits or access controls. Use the Service in any way that violates X's Terms of Service or Developer Agreement. Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

6. Data and X API Compliance

Our use of X data is governed by X's Developer Agreement and Policy. The data we display comes from X's APIs and reflects publicly available information. We store your follower and following data to provide the Service. You acknowledge that data accuracy depends on X's API and that follower information may change between syncs.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by SocialCrank. Your X data remains your data and is subject to X's terms. We claim no ownership over your follower or following data.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SocialCrank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account by contacting us. Upon termination, your stored data will be deleted from our systems within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via the Service.
